Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to hover effortlessly above a coral reef within a school of fish and gaze into the eye of an ocean creature and in so doing realize that you are staring into the eye of the creator? This is what scuba means to us and why we have pursued this lifestyle for much of our adult lives.
We earned our initial YMCA scuba certification together in May 1990 in Monterey Bay, California. Since that time, the two of us have spent weeks underwater interacting and photographing ocean life. Since our original certification, we’ve earned advanced certifications from virtually every major dive agency, including NAUI, PADI & SSI.
For us, diving is more than a hobby, it is our life style. We have worked as dive professionals in US and Caribbean dive shops.
By 2008, we became scuba instructors so that we could share our passion by providing safe, effective, and professional private and semi-private dive instruction. We hold Master Scuba Diver Training certifications from the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI).
If you are interested in learning to dive, or already are certified and wish advanced training, contact us directly for more information at info@nccoastallife.com.

May your journey lead you home.
